The traditional Spanish village of Ador is situated on the Costa Valencia which lies on the northern tip of the Costa Blanca.
-
The area is almost completely covered with lush orange groves, with a stunning backdrop of the Safor mountains. The region enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate, with refreshing sea breezes taking the edge off the hot Spanish summers.
-
Due to the golden sands that stretch all along this coastline, there are numerous beaches to choose from. Many have been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag award as a result of both clean water and facilities available.
-
The main town of the Safor region is Gandia, a thriving, historical, coastal town, popular with Spanish tourists. Here you will find a variety of great shopping areas, street cafes and restaurants as well as range of nightlife in the nearby Gandia Playa.
-
Slightly further away, but still only an easy 45 minute drive up the coast, lies the beautiful city of Valencia, a modern city packed with culture and vibrant life.
-
Travelling south from Ador, you will find popular coastal towns such as Denia and Javea, famous not only for their beaches but also for the local sea food.
